This event is open to kids in grades K-5 who are interested in learning more about Cub Scouts or who are already a member of Cub Scout Pack.

The event starts at 10:00 AM and plans to be finished by 3:00 PM.  You can come for as long as you would like.     

The event is expected to last a few hours.  We will bring a couple of pop up tents and tables.  Please bring a lunch, snacks, and water bottle.

This launch site is fairly remote.  Please be sure to keep the weather in mind as it may be snowy and cold.  There is a chance that the launch could be scrubbed due to weather. Check here for updates.

A 4-wheel drive vehicle could be an advantage because the roads are not paved for several miles.  If there is snow, the roads could be muddy.  

You may want to bring the following:

•  Camping chair

• Warm coat, gloves, hat, and warm blankets

• Umbrella or sport-brella for shade and wind protection

• Water bottle, snacks, a lunch if you want an alternative to chili

• Sunscreen

Take I25 to exit 269A, Colorado Highway 14 EAST.

 Go east on Highway 14 to the intersection with US Highway 85.

 From the intersection of Colorado Highway 14 and US Highway 85 in Ault.

 Continue East on Highway 14 20.3 miles, just past County Road 71

 Make left through gate and follow road approximately 1 mile to where it curves around West to launch site
